On the duality of process of generating information in developing informational-energy technologies

Two principally different types of conditions of generating information during interaction have been studied. The first type of condition is realized during representation of the existence informational structure; the second one is realize during synthesis of a new informational structure, which does not have an analogy. On the basis of applying catastrophe theory there is offered mathematical model, which takes into consideration quality differences between the studied conditions. The experimental foundation of application of the offered model is given. The results of the research are used in developing energy- informational technologies and products.

Decision Making with Dependence between Criteria and Alternatives

The generalization of the Analytic Hierarchy Process to the network structures with arbitrary links is considered. The example of the choice task with dependence between the task units is described. The obtained outcomes are interpreted as the limiting impact priorities which point to the units having the greatest impact into the formulated purpose during phase of prediction.

Information-technological medium for projecting of the intellectual microprocessor systems of energy-save control

Information technologies for automatic energy-save control analysis and synthesis with the help of expert system allowed to create algorithmic ensuring for the software control systems and optimal controllers with "energy utilization" and "fuel drain" functionals with high operativeness are considered. Algorithms are realized with the simple microprocessor instruments. Energy-resources economy is culminate of 15≈25 % when the dynamic regimes of heat apparatus, electro drives, transportation, etc. had controlled.

Intellectual Self-organizing Systems of Automatic Control = Theory of Automatic Control + + Information Technologies + Artificial Intelligence

The concept of Intellectual Self-organizing Systems of Automatic Control (ISSAC) is set up. Are reviewed a structure both frame ISSAC and route of implementation of her components. The main attention is given to an intellectual system of synthesis of a control law representing implementation of the I- solver of tasks of the theory of automatic control on the basis of Planning Artificial Neural Networks (PANN).

Parallel Digital Signal Processing

In the paper it is presented computer technology using remainder system known from number theory and special polynomial trans forms for speeding up computation of functions of diginal signal processing. It is shown, for example, that D-point complex linear convolution canbe calculated with 4D multiplications instead of 4D2 multiplications in the case of applying ordinary methods for determining this function.

Rating of Reliability of Failure-safe Systems from Multipurpose Modules in View of Interdependence of Refusals on Performance of Various functions

The approached method of a rating of reliability of failure-safe systems from multipurpose modules of an any kind of crossing of the equipment involved at performance of various functions is offered. The method is based on performance of the module as two or three-level treelike structure.

A System of Multivariable Objects Classification in Pattern Recognition Problems with Inexact a Priori Data

An approach to multivariable objects classification by means of pattern recognition is suggested that takes into account expert knowledge incompleteness during system learning process. It allows to elaborate expert estimations iteratively and generates new knowledge in the application field. The approach is based on committee decision rules usage. A new algorithm of committee search is offered, that takes into account a priory data inexactness.

University Portals

The INTERLABS Research Institute of Bradley University (Peoria, IL, LISA) performed research on university portals including portal architecture, features, types of information to be provided by portals, personalized tools and Internet tools, interfaces, content and relationships with other technologies. Prototypes of university, campus, learning, knowledge management and corporate portals have been carefully investigated. The results of comprehensive investigation led to a design and creation of a prototype of university portal at Bradley University.
